The 2008 Rocky Mountain Roundtable is a series of ten issue-oriented, nonpartisan symposia to be held in the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, running concurrently with the 2008 Democratic Convention in Denver. Participants in the Roundtable will be drawn from the thousands of dignitaries scheduled to be in Denver during the convention week, from individuals across the country and the world by invitation, and from citizens in the local Denver-area community. The Roundtable is intended to take advantage of a unique opportunity to create profound dialogue on many of the most critical issues of the day, including health, emergency preparedness, the New West, philanthropy, technology, retirement security, transportation infrastructure, women in leadership, energy and climate change, and international relations. |
