America now confronts a dangerous moral crisis. Both conservatives and liberals have moral blind spots—the conservatives have failed to see how ruthless are the forces to whom they’ve give their power,

and the liberals have failed to see how degrading are some of the cultural forces they’ve fostered. These are two sides of the same coin: the current polarization of American society represents a failure of the whole cultural system to integrate the elements of human nature and social order. The resultant takeover of America by evil forces can best be combated with a prophetic social movement that speaks moral truth to amoral power, a movement that will challenge both liberals and conservatives to achieve moral and spiritual re-awakening.
